This combination of the Monogram Edmunds Supermod and Revell's Orange Crate.
This resembled the style of modifieds that ran at the Jackson, MN track in 1971
This was built in 1971

For those with a sharp eye, I cut the body too narrow and had to splice some back in, which accounts for the rough looking top and what the Auto World decal is tryind to hide at the back. This was all done by site, NO measuring! I couldn't do that again....The two kits were ordered from the original Auto World....Even the slot in the hood for the 3 velocity stacks was done by eyeing it and using a single speed power drill to create opening for the stacks....

Not long after I moved to CA in 1972, my brother found this Edmunds kit.

This build was inspired by the Supermodifieds that ran at the San Jose Speedway. But no where close to those cars....A few years later found this intake setup. Not sure where the intake and velocity stacks came from...
It would be 1999 or there abouts when I bought the next Edmunds supermod, this one with the trailer....then almost 10 years later before it was reissued in a retro box through DTR....Though I scored two other Supermods from a party who wanted only the trailer from the 1990's release. One of those deals included trading the trailer from that 1990's kit for one of the two extra ones I got...
Would have liked to have bought more of the DTR release, but funds were just not available....still aren't....IF there are any still out there...

It's good to see some of your builds again Ed. I really like the 32 modified.
