Well the third of five Day's of Thunder cars done. This one fought me all the way. Three paint jobs because I could not get a good fluorescent pink. The left front fender broke and re-cracked when I was mounting the car. The spoiler did not want to paint well. Having said all that I really liked the way this turned out. Powerslide decals which seemed to have issues "sticking", that was a first for me. I ended up using Createx fluorescent pink since the other paint cracked the underlying coats no matter what the underlying coats were. Tamiya Pure White for the white. This is the second build I used a two part automotive clear. I am slowly getting the hang on what air pressure to use, speed to move across the kit and distance. I blended the front bumper in on the sides like I have for all my Days of Thunder builds. I also filled in the grooves on the front bumper. Two more to go not sure when I will get to them since my build rate this year is set to slow.
