Did I actually see AMT/MPC reissuing the '78 Dodge 4 Wheel Drive Pickup?!!
So I won't actually have to shell out a Kings Ransom for one now?!!! |

My pops had the 1972 extended cab and oddly enough, I had the Rupp mini bike, then later we had a pair of Kawasakis. Can't wait for this one. _________________ "Dude, it's not Camelot... it's only a model." "Details man, I need details!!" |

One of my best friends dad growing up had a '73 Moss Green, 8' Stepside, ugliest baddest truck I even rode in! Had narrow Goodyear Power Lug tires, that thing would pull a tree down! |

Now all I've gotta do is find an 8' stepside bed off of an old 72 Chevy and I'm in business!
Anybody got one?!! |

Might be simpler to cut up two Little Red Express beds to make an 8 footer, those shouldn't be too hard to find and the rear fenders are shaped correctly.
I'm pretty excited about this truck, I towed my race car with a '78 Dodge long wheelbase like the kit. |

I saw on the Model Roundup site that Model King will be releasing a 65 Ford F-100 with utility box. June release date. _________________ Forum member since 10/25/2010 |

The guy that did the real nice fake boxes did one....but not kit. The Model King kit coming is the first utility box in 1/25 plastic. |

Now when we say "utility box", are we talkin the kind that spans the bed behind the cab, with a lift door on each side? I hope, I hope, I hope...? _________________ "Dude, it's not Camelot... it's only a model." "Details man, I need details!!" |

Someone on the Spotlight board was building one, but I don't remember right off who made the conversion kit. If I remember I'll post it. tb |

Hey Dave -- A little off - topic here, but I am eyeballing a Squad 51 rig in HO Scale. It would use the old ROCO 1972 Dodge pickup cab, and the utility body off a Trident Chevy pickup " U.S. Airforce " model. It would be a tribute model to a buddy I lost early this year; Matt was nuts about fire apparatus. His phone ring - tone was the Emergency TV Series station call out. |
