I saw that Salvinos is requesting an aerial view of the 81 Lemans. That is looking straight down at the top. I didnt see it mentioned here. They were discussing it on fb. That'll be a hard one to find, but if anyone has any ideas, get in touch with them.

I'm sure there'd be something at Talladega as well. Lots closer to Texas... just sayin. _________________ "Dude, it's not Camelot... it's only a model." "Details man, I need details!!" |

I sent him a message that there are some Pontiac Fisher body manuals on ebay for the 81 lemans and those are pretty good. Might have the pics he's looking for. He politely thanked me for the info.

Rhine's stuff is pretty but it's not necessarily accurate. When they converted the Dingman Brothers Pontiac 2+2 back to the Tim Richmond Buick they used the wrong year nose and left the late '80s shock package in place. And they do love their English wheels, even for '70s cars that never saw an English wheel when they were being fabricated. Spoils the look for someone like me who was around those cars a lot. |

Well, I don't think they're worried about getting that deep in the details. They're using the museum cars for the Petty stuff they're doing and none of them are accurate either. _________________ "Dude, it's not Camelot... it's only a model." "Details man, I need details!!" |

I would be more inclined to help them if they didn't view us here like a fly landing on the supper table. |

Sadly, I can't seem to find a lawyer that can help me divorce models. Or I'm not really trying. _________________ "Dude, it's not Camelot... it's only a model." "Details man, I need details!!" |
