Took a month and a half to get it done but finally the first build of 2019.
Mostly out of box with a few alterations here and there.
I know these kits are far from the real thing but they are fun and make me feel 12 again when I build one!
Cleaned up the tires, made the cage fit better and added the down tubes also made the rear seat cover fit down into the interior tub.
Added some bars under the hood and a filler from the core support to the grill.

Fun and simple kits that got a lot of us excited as kids! Great job, your few easy improvements make a huge difference. I guess I was lucky to live in an area where the real race cars were very much like these kits!

Great looking build!!
Nice job!!
Only built a couple of this series wa-a-a-a-a-y back in the '70's...
Have added a number of this series since around 2006/2007.....Think I have at least one of each of the reissued series from back then...... _________________ Ed. K |

I had all but the Pontiac but with this one I have four the Olds, Falcon, Skylark and Fairlane.
The rest I sold along with many Johan kits to pay medical bills. |

Nicely done!
These are fun kits even with their steamroller tires and thick roll cages! _________________ Forum member since 10/25/2010
