...Thought I would post this since "Old Coyote" posted his!!! Actually I thought I had re-posted it when we got the board back up and running but his post caused me to go through this section and I realized I had only re-posted my "Red" 1/16 Snowman!!! Thank you Sir!!! One note the Red car decals are kit decals and the blue I made up myself (So the transition from the front to rear an the body side decals wasn't as good!) Well Here it is...

And Finally...

Gorgeous builds sir, both of them. Having grown up in the Texas panhandle I got to see both of these cars quite often. And I loved it when Jake Johnston strapped it on the boss

Great builds. I have fond memories of my dad taking me into Consumers Distributing (anybody remember that store?) when I was a kid and letting me pick a model out of the catalogue. This was the one I chose.

I built it up back then but recall it was perhaps a little too challenging for my skill level at the time, so some stuff was left off. Still brings back great memories, though.

Thanks for posting them!!

Consumer Distributing! WOW! I remember them...but not as a kid lol.
Many a household items purchased there.
Ancient history - when I was a kid obtained Monogram's 1/8 32 Ford and Corvette kits along with a Monogram slot car with books of S&H Green Stamps!
