Something that I have wanted to do forever. My father raced late model Nascar races on dirt and asphalt tracks. I want to build a chassis from scratch. Something like a HOWE camaro/nova type chassis. Has anyone done this? If so did you use a blueprint from that or another chassis builder. A full frame or a camaro/nove front clip.

If you Google Lanny Haas and Slim Louis on Fotki they both have late model builds. I don't think they built specific chassis like Howe though. But there are some good ideas on LM style chassis builds. Long ago the Howe parts catalog had a drawing (sorta blueprint) of the chassis but haven't seen a catalog in years. Also, the Lefthander chassis website has some good photos of their chassis for reference.
