Have a Buick in the stash and would like to do an 81 Bobby Allison Hardee’s Ranier car. I know wetworks makes a set but can’t find them anywhere, anyone know where I can find a set?

They're virtually impossible to find. I'd love to have a sheet myself.

Yep Irish almost impossible to find. It took me about 3-4 years of searching to find a set. Maybe Powerslide, ACE, or someone will do a re-pop.
Good Luck!

I’d buy some sets. The Hardee’s cars were always some of the best looking cars on the track in the 80’s.

You can almost get all the decals on this sheet.

https://www.mikesdecals.com/hardees-cale-yarborough-198384-powerslide-233-p-4543.html

Biggest things missing are the Pepsi and "Best Eatin" decals. The stripes can be painted. As for the curved "Hardee's" the real one isn't. It is the bulge in the hood that makes it look that way. If you see pics that have it in a direct view you can see that it is straight.

I think most folks are looking for the Allison drop shadow '28's and arched Hardee's logos......which have not been done since the original sheet.

dave was the orange the same shade for all cars up through the fords? if so how would you rate the fred cady sheet from years ago, was that orange close? at least to the chevy's and buicks anyway.

I built this one a long time ago and am almost certain I built it using Cady decals. The orange paint is an everyday run of the mill orange and it matches the decals really well.

nice!! like the stance. i used go mango lacquer for mine. matched the cady decals perfect. if cady's decals colors are correct then they should be matched by future makers is what i mean

I've been wondering if the Hardees cars were all the same Orange or not as well. I have the Wetworks Allison Buick, Powerslide Yarborough Monte and the Powerslide Yarborough/Kulwicki Thunderbird decals. All 3 sets are different Oranges. I always thought they were the same. Anybody have any insight? Don't get me wrong, I love the decals that Wetworks and Mike has put out, this is not meant to be a knock on them. Just wondering about the Orange shading.
