I read on here that Holman Moody was basically done after 1971 but the Wood Brothers continued to run large" competition proven"stickers on their car as late as the '79 debut of Neil Bonnett in the 21. Maybe even later. Can somebody explain? _________________ "And on the 8th day God created the Hemi!" |

It seems to me that Tommy Turner of Holman- Moody, still did some engine work for the Woods. Maybe part of the engine shop stayed in business until later.
Maybe Tom Mooty will have a definitive answer. |

The H-M shop was still there (the real one) and I'd drop by now and then. I can't recall what year the big 'Fire Sale' was....I bought H-M Cup wheels for $5 each! But in 1990 John was still in the building doing work of some kind. |
