Hello---I had a couple way back years ago and seem to remember
the chassis or body being twisted. I ask because I am looking at
a Revell Bill Elliot McDonalds Thunderbird and was wondering if that
was an inherent problem. I seem remember putting the body in hot water and twisting it. Thanks for any help.---John

That hot water and twist SHOULD help minor warps.
I think ALL the Thunderbirds of that era were twisted. Crying or Very sad

I have a Mark Martin Tbird build in the works from that style of kit, it took me about 4 kits to find a body that wasn’t too terribly warped and usable. I have a few #75 Remington kits and a #94 McDonald’s one, they all have bodies warped to some degree. Hoping that the less warped one i have will straighten out a bit once on a built chassis.

Needless to say, i have a few kits worth of parts to use...

Was there a resin body made for this? Might be an option.---John
