hey all got this one coming along, now my question is as I approach painting the body black is plain old gloss, the silver is where i'm lost is it a silver metallic or like more of an aluminum thanks

Tamiya Mica Silver is just about a perfect match for the silver sides of the car.

I used TS-30 Silver Leaf for mine, it's more of a factory silver with less metallic. Closer to a silver gray.

I almost went with that option myself, it was a tough decision between the two. Your choice using the TS-30 might have been the better option between the two but I liked the way the Mica Silver turned out. For my Richard Petty version of the Olds 442 I'm having a hard decision trying to choose between the Tamiya Bright Red or the fluorescent Red.
