Many of you have been awaiting parts. I apologize for the wait. I woke up the other day and my left arm had decided not to come to work. There was a lot of pain, tingling and freaking out and frankly a little anger at the no-call no-show. I honestly thought I'd stroked out or had a heart attack in my sleep.

The emergency room felt differently. Owing to some new medication, I had rolled out of bed (first time in decades!) then got up and got into bed again. I had hit the floor just right and dislocated my collar bone and pinched an entire nerve cluster, making all of them very angry with me.

So I've been taking doctors orders to heart. She said take it easy. Not sure how I do that seeing as I'm predominately left handed. Things that are now a chore include OPENING MY PILL BOTTLE, making meals, straightening the house, modeling, OPENING MY PILL BOTTLES, feeding the cats, anything involving the bathroom...

I know I mentioned opening my pill bottles twice. I wanted to make sure everyone knew of this difficulty since it would seem NOBODY around here has heard of this plight!! My GF went to work, kid went out for the day, I sit here with a hammer resistant pill bottle! I mean, I thought at the very least the cap would pop off and scare the cats. No such luck, these bottles are built to last.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, I'm back, I'm bored and I'm strung tighter than Lester Flatt's Mandolin! My shoulder is better so I'm spending tomorrow with molds and resin. I'll have a round of parts out Monday, first come first served. The new nose clip and grille are done and going to be molded tomorrow, providing I can Tom Sawyer someone into mixing the rubber for me.

Get better man! Health before resin for sure. Sorry for your misfortune, but glad you're going to be ok. Tom

Thank you gentlemen. It turns out it was a mixture of anxiety meds and ambien. After talking with Abby I find I've had all kind of nighttime adventures. I guess the other night I had a 20 minute conversation on a phone that hasn't been active in years! Of course it never occurred to her to wake me. I'm not taking either pill any more.

Ambien eh? It seems to make me sleep eat. I once woke up with a half eaten sandwich on the pillow next to me. Rolling Eyes

WELL!! I have just found a literal plethora, of natural, non narcotic safe sleep aids. Where was this list when the doctor was ripping through the prescription pad??

I tried a little warm milk with a drop of caramel last night. An hour later I took a tryptophan pill. Slept like a baby! No falling out of bed, no sandwiches left on the counter, no terrorized cats. Don't think I even dreamt.

There was a time, long ago, when the most trusted member of the community aside from the preacher man, was the doctor. Now I just don't know. Living in a state deep in the middle of the opioid crisis, one would think they'd be less pill happy.

Climbing off the soap box now.

Issue is the Phama folks need to push their meds to keep the cash flowing. I always insist if I need a med I get something that has been around a long time and not the newest med off the line. Good luck!!

Thank you Mack. If I may quote Buddy ala "Night Court", I'm feeling MUCH better now!

Amazing what a couple good night's rest will do.

You don’t appreciate feeling good until you feel bad. Glad you’re better.
