Hi Everyone, just wanted to see what the methods yall use for storing decals. I have acquired a huge amount of decals and would like to know the best way of storing them for future use. _________________ "I wasn't trying to wreck him, I just wanted to rattle his cage." |

I put mine in ziploc bags and then store them all in a rigid Tupperware container out of direct light. I also try not to pile them on top of each other too deeply so they don't stick to the bag. _________________ Dennis

I place mine in a large water-proof hanging file box. I store each decal sheet in it's original storage bag/envelope whenever possible. I separate and organize them by decade for quick reference. Each decade has it's own file folder. I place the file box in a climate controlled closet. I also include folders for tire decals, contingency decals, and any other specialty decals. In addition, I keep all unused partial leftover decals because one never knows when you may need some obscure contingency or something.
I know. I'm a "neat freak" and an overly organized person.

that is one of those sheets that if you got it...you never want to cut it up and use it.
i know Pattos does this scheme...so it's no problem doing the car.
but to have that WW20 sheet...maybe one day. _________________

Does anyone put the little moisture packs from medicine bottles in with the decals? Could it damage the decals if they were in contact with the decals??? Thanks |

I have about (50) in a metal bank box all in their plastic sleeves within. Bank box is the perfect size for my decals |

i keep mine in a two rubbermaid tubs, one for contingencies and one for complete cars. i also throw in those bags of silica you get in shoe boxes and other s to keep moisture at bay.
