Top notch local car painter/striper told me to try the 3M Vinyl tape for masking my models. Anyone used it before? _________________ Dennis

I'm at work. I bought some many moons ago from the local auto paint store. The stuff I got is blue vinyl about 1/8 inch wide. I believe it was called fine line tape. Been using it for years without any real issues. When I do, it is usually around a complex curve of some sort where I really didn't think out the masking well and got a bit of creep under that. I only recently tried Tamiya's tape. Seemed about the same to me _________________ Two of my favorite things, a lovely blond and a Dodge Charger |

Thank you....that is the stuff he recommended. The blue stuff.....
It not too expensive. Got a roll on Amazon for $11 and it's likely enough to last me years...... _________________ Dennis

just for kicks...(i think i mentioned this stuff before...)
for overall masking...pick up some of the Frog Delicate masking tape...
it's just giant roll of the yellow tamyia masking tape. makes good crisp lines...you can cut it down and it will still mask without bleeding under the cut edge.
i found it at the Depot. _________________
