Found this on youtube and thought it was quite good. Dig the towing setup - quite a contrast from the big rigs of today.

A question occurred to me - if you wanted to build a dirt track version of the Fords or Chevys using the Revell kits - what type of tires would you use?
Did they run special tires (snow tires?) for dirt tracks back in the day? In the video, it looks like they used regular tires, but wanted to be sure. |

I believe at that time they may have been running 8 ply truck tires. PPP makes them. They have tires for all the different eras of Nascar. |
