I'm building this car and looking for suggestions on a chassis. Ran in 1970 as a short track late model. Kit chassis is not so good. Not doing a detailed build.

I'd look at the MPC short track kits. Cuda, Mustang, Camaro....easier to kind is Monte Carlo and GTO. |

Dave...Looking at the lower front this car appears to have a stock Camaro sub frame. back in the early 80's I worked on, built and drove limited sportsman cars at a couple local tracks. Back then the track rules for uni-body cars required them to use frame connectors. With that, if you are using the Revell Camaro the stock chassis pan with added frame connectors should be just fine. Just a thought.
By the way a little later all the uni-body cars were switching over to Ed Howe chassis using a stock Camaro front clip. Good luck, post some pictures. |
