You are going to have to change the color of the siding and roof shingles on the house to match the cars. |

Good job young man, when I see this type of work I realize how much I miss Jerry Sims. A man I never met or probably wouldn't recognize if I fell over him, but meant a lot to all of us who interacted with him.
Hopefully he laid his flat top down long enough to smile when he seen these pictures :) |

and as to the models.....YEAH BABY !!! that is really neat !
at first glance i thought the #25 was a 64 fairlane , but a closer look showed it to be a '62 meteor - mercury's rare version of ford's fairlane . the model is very rare , also - and i doubt many folks have seen one - or even heard of a mercury meteor .

Great looking cars! I know Jerry would have loved them both. Everyone knows how much he liked 64 Fords but he also would have really liked the Meteor. Back in the late 60's there was a local driver named Clyde Craig who raced a Meteor like that one in the LateModel class here at Lancaster and at Starlite in Monroe. Jerry drove a Mercury Cyclone on the street at the time and was a big fan of that little Meteor. _________________ Jackie Sims Race Car Models http://public.fotki.com/gator-gallery/ |

FANTASTIC LOOKIN' RACIN' TEAM!!!!!!!!!!!
Are the two cars "curbside builds", or did you "create" an under-the-hood????

Very Good looking Race Team. I also thought the car on the Hauler was a 64. Very cool. Did you hand letter the cars? Sure looks good... _________________ The only way to play in the Dirt, is at 110 mph, sideways!!
