This will be my 5th year in a row in the pits at Michigan. And as always, I take photo requests to just about anything you guys can think of. Have you ever wondered "I wonder what that really small decal is on the rear quarter panels of Tony Stewart's car?" or "What did the #18's car have on it's rims"? Well here a few examples of what I can get for you....
Here's the rundown. Right side shots of any car are alot harder then left side. Security doesn't allow you to leave the pit box to take pics. I can get left sides, rear TV panels and 3/4 shots very easily. I can take pics of pit boxes, pit tools, dashboards with ignition set up (if the window net is down), etc etc. I leave early Friday morning (June 15th). I will bump this thread from time to time to give everybody a chance to get their requests in. Remember, I do this for us....the modelers. This benefits everyone, sooner or later. Especially decal makers. If 1 picture I take helps Mike's Decals to produce a great sheet, I'm happy with that  Anyhow, please remember when making a request to:
-Name the car and/or car # you want
-Certain parts of the car (B-post, left rear quarter panel, etc)
-Certain sponsor logos
-Paint colors
To the moderators: I know there's a special section for picture requests. That side of the forum doesn't get visited as much as here. So I'm making this thread available in both spots. Hope that's ok

Jeff..maybe while walking around if you could possibly get a picture of the mysterious panel that is mounted on the passenger side roll cage..the one that you can never see really well from the drivers side..I know this isn't in the guidelines but just in case...thanks for any and all reference photos.

Me too. Although I usually go only on Sunday into the pits. Fri night and all day Saturday is meant for shopping for souvenirs and  :drunk:

Just got done with my "training/ orenetation" for this years pit tours. MIS has made some good changes. New repaved track, hospitality has moved from turn 1 to turn 4, a new RV park in turns 3-4. Should be good for the fans! I can't wait!

Regan Smith's car please, as much as you can. A detail shot showing the exact paint brake on the wheels would be very much appreciated.
As I say every year: Tail panels are almost never photographed, so keep that in mind if you get an open shot...My record for picture taking is 240-something in 45 minutes so I'm sure you are capable!
