This is a Bandit Resin 73 Montego GT on a Johan chassis with rims and engine from a Monogram kit. Ace decals, rattle can with PPG clear coat as a finish. I painted to match my Wood Brothers collection (number 56 built), yes, the colors aren't perfect but it's my model. Some cars had the gold rims and oil can, I choose that version. Baremetal foil and photo etch round out the car. I just love this body style, Buford did a great job, thanks much.

That is really fine! For some reason, that is one of my favorite body styles. I must like fast bricks Cool Good job with the chassis choice.

thats gorgeous WBJ Very Happy the roof color looks like this in certain pics so I like it. I wasnt too crazy about the gold rims in pics I have but I must say they look good too! I used the Johan chassis but mine sits to high in the rear...yours sits nice! did you use the BMF on your bumpers? glad you went with the bulged hood. looks like you fill it in some too.

Mick, I used Alcad Chrome in the airbrush for the bumpers and grill. Bare metal foil dull aluminum for the block off plates. The only way I could get it to sit right was epoxy the wheels were I wanted them, they are not on the mounting pins. Nobody at my house is going to turn it over. I did the hood just like you did, I think it matches that paint booth photo from the thread.

I sprayed my bumpers with the Alcad II ...wonder if it s the same as yours or do they make 2 types? yours look shinier.
got cha on the wheels...Im doin the 78 Tbird Allison car and I will do that car like that. I may change my '74 Pearson car too Very Happy nobody at my house will turn it over either..lol Im more into the way they look and sit than all the underside details but I appreciate those that go to that much extreme!
