I did, I had some old window net material from S&S specialties and it worked perfect. Every picture I saw of these aerocoupes had that behind the mesh. A small detail, nice pick-up!

Just a couple of pics, cuz its been awhile.

Wheels On

Wheels Off

Front Hub

Rear hub.

I've missed the contest, so it will have to wait. I wanted to get the wheels/hubs to the point were i can take them off and back on. One of the hubs got wasted while drilling. I need to put on the rotors and calipers and brake lines. The hubs are so tight i cannot fit lugs on Sad
Anyhow, maybe one day it will get done!

Peace,
Chuck

I was wondering where you got those shock absorbers, or if you made them, they are pretty cool!

joe, the shocks I made from a posting on the how-to board. I dont remember the sizes exactly. It worked out really well. The fittings came from model master.
Thanx for looking.

No real update here! But after this has sat for a year it has issues. All the belts broke and came off, I cannot stand the way the 2 hubs came out, who make a good set of hubs? The set i bought had resin hubs and when i drilled out the studs, they came apart and the studs look like crooked teeth. plus my hood hindges all broke

to the right you can see the broken belts

Thanks for looking.
Chuck
