Looked but didn't find a topic. Any build tips for the recent reissue kit? I see it'll fit on a PL chassis OK but I was thinking to build it "box stock" with some cleanup.

Dave, could you post a more direct link, I can't find the Cyclone build stuff there only the Malibu.

Although I must ask, what's the turbine for???

And what's the story behind the awesome church and the scratchbuilt corner stores?

Read through the entire album. The Mercury needs the least help but the 'hints' for the Chevy work the same for the Merc. How to fix the WB, fire walls, chassis length etc. All there......

The turbine is from the first issue AMT GMC COE kit. We are asking AMT if they can find the mold and reissue.

Thanks

Gotcha, didn't think common chassis and all that.

Still'd love to hear the story on the Church model.

the church is for my O scale, 1/4" = 1 foot, train layout. Made from Pegasus modular kits.

Good thing I asked! That "common chassis" was waaaay off, to get the wheelbase right for the merc I only overlapped the halves about 1/8" compared to the 3/8" or so they give you to overlap Shocked
