I remember back then seeing theses slotted wheel. But can't remenber the vendors name or brand
It was aluminum or cast, I don't know, but they look way better then anything in plastic.

They were called Ansen sprints, and were copied later by ET who added a uni-lug feature, that allowed the owner to change the lug pattern.

They used to be quite common in old muscle car kits, but then all the kit manufacturers discovered the incredibly ugly Cragar five spokes, and have made nothing else since. Maybe one of the resin casters makes them.

I remember that the ARII 73 Challenger were pretty nice wheels
They are in plastic, but they looked aluminum and not full blown chrome.
Just bought 2 kit from Japan. They should do perfectly for my projects

Call me insane, but to my eye the wheels in the Polar Lights Charger look more like those wheels than they look like the NASCAR Clement wheels. |

These are from the AMT Gasser Parts Pack. Maybe a little too shallow on the fronts? I use 2 sets of rears for old dirt cars. Diameter is the same I believe, just shallow and deep. Just a thought. tb

Go with the 29 Monogram (Early Iron sereies) type kits Ford
pick ups...they are spot on....
S/H rims....spokes are too flat at the base...
Gasser....slots are too small
Just my thoughts.......
