A few years back a fellow modeler borrowed me some NASCAR books to scan some interesting photos.
Today i took a closer look on the pics and found something interesting:

I know the all red ´63 Ford of Wendell, but a blue/white, with a rookie rearbumper? Looks like the ´62 paintsheme.

He drove it in the 1964 World 600 race at Charlotte, started 40th and finished 9th.

Does anybody have more pics of the blue/white Ford, maybe?

I believe these cars were given/sold to Scott by Ned Jarrett, so paint information for these cars would apply to Scott.

Here's a '62 Chev with Jarrett's Royal Beach Motel sponsorship still on the front fender.

Interesting photo. If it is Wendell, that should not be a yellow rear bumper. Is it possible that is actually the #39 car of Mark Hurley? He was also entered in a 63 Ford, although he was also not a rookie. Maybe that bumper just looks yellow in the picture?

The pic shows the ex-Jarrett ´62 Chevy in which Wendell took home his one and only win (sad story about this).

It´s hard to tell ,if it is a #34 or #39, your right.

They both drove a ´63 Ford in that race.

Never saw a pic of Hurley´s Ford.
