Unfortunate the World 600 starting line diorama never came to fruition. I still have my Don Tarr Charger I built for it.

Yes indeed. I never get tired of looking at Nascar model car builds and even the ones that aren't Nascar. As long as it's a scale replica of a car, I love it. Just glad we have forums to share our builds with each other like this one. Thanks for posting that, Dave.

I have all the Cecil Gordon ingredients for that one.

Wasn't there something similar at Atlanta that didn't end well?

Storm or remodel as I recall. some reports all/some/most of those kits ended up in trash cans?

I seem to remember some connection to BSR, not the trashing of the models. but the project itself.

If memory serves me Atlanta Motor Speedway was hit with a tornado and there was damage to the building housing the model display. I believe the display and models disappeared never to be seen again during the tornado cleanup and repairs.
