Hi,
Both of my local hobby stores have closed within the last year. Where do you guys go for supplies? I'd love to do online but the shipping seems a little crazy for small orders like jarred paint. I do have a pretty well stocked Hobby Lobby close by but I prefer mom and pops! |

Local automotive paint store: I get tape, sandpaper, body filler and putty and they custom mix aerosal cans for me. They run about $25 for a large can. The small hobby size have reached $8-9 each.
Local auto parts stores: I get primer and Duplicolor paints.
Hardware store: I started using some Krylon paints and get expoxy glue.
The closest hobby shop to me is 45 minutes away, and model kits and supplies is just a side to them, mainly an RC shop. |
