this is far from a perfect build in my eyes... a few small paint runs that i didn't notice until i was applying the decals, the grille looks horrible because of the clear glue that i used (versus super glue, didn't want to haze the paint), stance wasn't what is should be, and so on.

anyway, on to the details. Revellogram kit that had a slightly warped body (as is common for this kit for some reason) that i got mostly straight by storing it in the box with the chassis/belly pan in place. Powerslide decals. tamiya black and camel yellow paint. detail master grille kit. Brandon Miller's superspeedway exhaust dumps that i added a small piece of strip to in order to replicate the mid-1990's SS exhaust - this is the one thing that i am truly happy with on the build. thought they turned out looking great.

and i finally figured out imgur's BS and managed to get to the spot where i can pick the image size! so they won't be all huge and stuff.

Looks great, the yellow on black really pops.

And have you clearcoated these (Cartograph?) decals?

Other than Kodiak this was my favorite Rusty car. looks good!

Back in those days of PAINTED race cars, you could find a few paint runs on the real cars, particularly the short track cars. Yours looks just fine.....

Love the build and I am grateful for the mention of the paint choices - they look wonderful. The stance looks pretty darn good too. Your grills appear race-worn to me - maybe a bit of mild weathering would complete the effect?

May I ask what clear glue you used for the mesh? I recently bought some AK/Mig Ultra glue, which is supposedly good for securing photoetch metal parts to plastic, aiming to use it for things like making intake grills. Just wondering if it was that product, or some other such thing, and what the pitfalls were, please.
