Cotton has to be in my personal top 5 list. His shop was about 30 miles up the road and I remembering seeing him every Saturday night back in the 90’s at Cherokee speedway with his 3 grandsons who raced 4cyl there. I like to think this is the look after a race at Spartanburg fairgrounds back in the day. The kit is the Moebius Joe Weatherly version with Powerslide decals. Hope you enjoy looking.

Great job!! Not a fan of "race look" cars personally, but, yours is actually tastefully done and you hit the nail on the head with just the right amount of "clay/mud" on the car Very Happy

nice. like the way the roll cage fits the interior. attention to detail, often lacking
in late model builds...

Great job on this one....especially the weathering!!

Like mentioned, it is nice to see a dirt version since NASCAR ran dirt tracks back in those days....

Great looking build. My son was friends with one of Cottons grandsons. We went with them some to the dirt track in Greer, I85 speedway. Did see Cotton race on the dirt at Piedmont Interstate Fairgrounds in late 50s and early 60s.Went to his open houses in 63 & 64 after he went with Dodges.
