Never built one of the Revell ASA Camaros before and was wondering if anybody had any knowledge on the kits. Any I should watch for? Can I build the rollcage/chassis and paint as unit before adding seat, suspension and other items like I can with the Cup cars?

I would say you could, it's been a while since I built one.

Interior tin might be problematic if you want it a different color from the chassis.

I've built a number of each of the ASA kits without problems. I always build the chassis and roll cage assembled, paint and then add interior parts, including the sheet metal. So, yes it can be done the way you do NASCAR kits

Just be sure the leave the driver side rear cage section off until you put the axle in. All other assembly should go like a NASCAR build.
