I can’t identify the logo you are looking for, but i can tell you that some of the stickers on that car aren’t period correct for what appears to be a late 1980’s Monte Carlo. The 76 engine oil and Wix stickers appear to be from the late 1990s or early 2000s

Thanks, I noticed that also but the customer wants it to look like this car so that's what I'm doing.

That car is beautiful to look at, just the fact that is a Marcis car, is awesome, but the use of those '88 and '89 Super Speedway headlight covers on an '86 ride, has always "bugged" me. A small characteristic, but one us modellers notice ....

Yeah, its a nice looking car, but it's the result of what would seem to be either guess work or lazy research by who ever restored it.

Having said that, cars changed from race to race, even from practice season to qualifying to race.

To me, if you're making an effort to restore it, take the extra effort to restore it correctly. My unsolicited opinion.

Sorry, not meant to hijack the post.

I have no idea what that decal is, probably the solution is in the illegible script at the bottom of it.

Might be a long shot, but you could try contacting Dave. He's on Facebook. Don't know if he monitors it or if someone else does.
