No more info. They said they have signed the licensing agreement.
They did say the chassis will be the same. So it sounds like it will be this years car. I have not bought or built one so I'm not up on the ins and outs of the kit.

The rear clip chassis updates will not be revised on the kits.

Can't wait for the Cale Yarborough 1985 Hardees Thunderbird.

Serious though. I can't wait.

IF Salvino's runs the 1983 Thunderbird I'd LOVE to see them update the body to make it more correct. VERY simple corrections and I'll buy some kits.....no changes I have cases of vintage kits to fix myself. Happy to provide input if needed!!!!

The lack of an update on the rear clip is really a non issue. It's mostly a removal of bars, you don't see them once the kit is together.

If somebody could get a message to that little ol' barn in Texas, PLEASE tell Jim Jams to mold the roof camera separate on the Ford and Toyota. It was in the wrong place on the Camaro since it was tooled from the preseason plans.

The rear 'cage' is not a biggy. From what I hear from teams the underside may get a MAJOR re-do. If that is true I'd wait a few weeks and see. The defuser may be going away and other changes.

The standard reply is "any modeler can fix THAT".

Nascar Modeling Outlaws

Small but active group, minimal rules, minimal drama but it is not for everybody 🙃

What other Toyota teams are there besides JGR? I can't think of one Toyota I would like to build. But I'd love to build a Blaney Mustang.

I take that back. I could build a Bubba car if he would stick with one car.

Do you mean one scheme or one number? He'll only be driving the #23 in 2023.

I have decals for his Kansas winner that Sam made for me, planning on using them on the SJR Salvino's kit assuming there aren't huge changes between the 2022 and 2023 cars.

I mean one number. I like him better in the 23.

Well, if he can win in the 23 that would be the car I would want to do. I doubt if the cars are going to look that much different from 2022 to 2023.
