Not sure how long its been since they closed up shop, maybe 6 yrs? I honestly can't remember. Last week as I was prepping the next group of builds (always have 4 or 5 models in a session) I noticed I was running very low on Galaxie NASCAR tubs, resin H/M wheels and other itty-bitty stuff. On a whim I checked ebay... wow 400-700 dollars for some full kits. Their stuff was always top notch but didn't think it was investment grade but those kits are performing better than anyone's 401K right now.

sure do miss them.

I will probably hear it for what I am about to say. They stopped offering a product that you have regularly been purchasing, supply has dried up, I would take one you have, make any changes or improvements, and cast some yourself. You are not looking to sell and profit from that, just filling a personal need.
