I took the Salvinos rollout kit and decided to jump right into the fire on this one. Using excellent decals from MPR I set out to build and extreme detailed build. Went a little overboard in some areas where I added lots of extra detail that can't even be seen once the build is completed. I added plumbing and fittings to the transaxle. Completely invisible. Added the rear anti-roll stabilizer bar. Can't be seen. I know it's all there but no one else.
I did choose to display the engine outside the car so that all of the added details could be seen. Lots of fun on this one but going forward I will stick to doing them straight out of the box.

Your model of this car shows incredible detail and workmanship. From the comments expressed on this forum about this kit, you have exceeded any expectations I had for a build of this caliber so early since the kit was released. |

BEAUTIFUL build.
however, you will get penalized for running D4788 tires all the way around... _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

Triple wow on this one Wayne. Everything is Awesome. Paint, cleanliness of build, and of course the adding of all the extra detail. I thought this one could be built without actually gluing the body to the chassis. Too bad it can't so we could have seen all the extra goodies. |

Wow!!
You've got a show winning build there, it's beautiful!
What did you use to get such a shiny gloss, was it a 2k type of clear coat? |

This is a truly wonderful build, and the diorama adds to the impact of your work. Thanks for sharing the comment about a detailed build vs. box stock. I have one of the Camaro kits, but haven't opened it up yet, waiting for more accomplished and seasoned builders to weigh in on the pros and cons of building this kit. I guess there's been enough feedback now that I'm running out of excuses! |

Braided engine hoses. Metal manifold. Throttle spring. Wheels looking like the real thing, not coated plastic. The anticipation of hidden details. Hunting for my X-ray specs and grabbing the napkin beside me to wipe my drooling mouth. Wonderful details. Three thumbs up! |

Thanks for the comments. Sorry for the late response. I used Axalta 2 part clear on this. |
