A warts and all version of a fine looking race car. Dupli-color (Australia) Deep Aqua on Tamiya grey primer, complete with orange peel finish due to Queensland humidity and impatience on my part. Powerslide decals, courtesy of Mike's. Kerbside job as is usually the case for me because I am not the best with the engine parts and I get annoyed when the hood doesn't sit right. Box build in all other respects. The front end of the hood decal is not sitting right. I should have sanded back the moulded hood pins and used decals for all of them. Here you see painted outer pins, and decals for the two central ones that do a reasonable job of hiding the error. Lesson learned, until I forget it the next time! Completed Aug 22. Thanks for looking.

Looks great. Did you use aluminum tubing for the exhaust? They look too good to be from the kit.

Hurricane21, thanks for the memory jogger. I used Evergreen styrene tube and Rustoleum metallic aluminium on grey primer, then dirtied it up a bit.

Thanks to all for the nice comments. Love this hobby and the friendliness of the people on this site.

A bit like Mitchell Johnson's bowling, mate.

Not always on line, but wildly effective when it is.

You'll not get that sort of critique from the Yanks on here.
