Was there ever a set of decals printed to be able to make this car that Leeroy Yarbrough drove to the victory of the 1969 Daytona 500? The Polar Lights kit is of the Mercury that he drove later in the season and not the Torino Talladega from the 500.

JNJ made what I think you want. Last time I checked, Mike had them |

I think Fred Cady did those too, if you can find them |

I just looked on the internet and seen a picture of the Fred Cady sheet. They would work if I can find a set of them. Onto the hunt! |

What an interesting season for that #98 car.
Won seven of the 30 races entered, two as a Mercury Cyclone - the Rebellious 400 and the World 600. The rest were won in a Torino Talladega. Swept both races at Daytona in the Ford, swept Darlington winning one in each Ford brand.
Even if you can't get the exact Daytona 500 decals, there's a lot of cool stuff to work with. Good luck in the decal hunt. |

I’m pretty sure Yesterday’s decals did a comprehensive set that includes the cobra script. I have a set and I think I’m correct on the manufacturer. Lots of luck in finding them |

Thanks guys. I was able to find a seller on ebay that had them for $10 a sheet. I snatched up a sheet yesterday while they had 2 listed. |

When I made this one, I used decals from Fred Cady, Yesterday's and the Mercury Polar Lights kit, still not 100% accurate for the Daytona winner.

I hope it wasn't TERSAWOLF, he sells copies of others decals and the quality is rather poor. |
