Back in the early 70's, Richard Petty drove a first generation Monte Carlo, solid white with blue numbers, in a race in Canada. It was sponsored by STP. I want to build this car, but am lacking a lot of specifics. If anyone can shed some light on this car such as engine size, tire brand, wheel, chassis colors or possibly any pictures. Thanks |

It was one of Jean Paul Cabana's cars that he used, the chassis/cage/wheels on JPC's cars were light blue, a bit lighter than Petty blue-
Cant say for certain on the Monte but Cabana ran a 302 in his Beaumont (chevelle) which was around that same era so likely the monte also was also running a small block

Thanks for posting those pictures. Seems like Allison was everywhere back then. I noticed in the first picture, it looks like the car has the vinyl top trim on it. |

It probably still had the vinyl on it. The emblem is still in place on the C post. |
