I went through my stash and found the lone Revel Dodge Ram Nascar Truck kit that I have. This is the Mopar Dennis Seltzer kit.. Being a Richard Petty fan I went searching to see what options there were out there. I found a set of decals for the Hensley 1999 Petty 50th Anniversary truck at Pattos Place. I ordered up a set and got to painting when I could. This is where it stands today. Got the tire decaled up, wheels painted, the body has been primed and painted. Just wished I had more time to work on it.

When I started building my Petty collection, I had found Testors AMC Big Bad Blue Lacquer in their line of paints that I liked. Thought it looked close to me and started using that for my Petty builds before I seen where everyone was saying to use Tamiya TS-23 Light Blue. I wasn't using Tamiya paints at that time so, I continued on with the Testors paint. Now I cannot find the Testors Big Bad Blue anywhere so, I thought I'd try Scale Finishes Big Bad Blue enamel and airbrushed it. It matches the Testors pretty well. I'd like to have my Petty builds be the same color so that is what I will be using from now on.

Pato's Place has them. If I remember right,he is in Australia or somewhere like that. They will cost you about $50 by the time you get them. They are nice, and getting custom ones done would be at least that much. If someone is producing them in the US, I haven't heard.

Yes I got my decals from Pattos Place, not cheap but the only game in town. Have not had time to work on this anymore right now with my work and kids. Wanting to get back on this soon. I just wish the Nascar Ram truck was more widely available.

The different truck kits I have done all built up nicely and the stance was good. Only problems I had were warped bodies on the Chevrolets. I will pick up one when I find a compete reasonable kit, which are getting harder to find and doubt will ever be reissued.
Looking forward to you being able to resume your build.
