Working on a car. I typically use the PPP H&M 10 Inch wheels and the 60's-70's Late Model Sportsman Tires as a set. This tire is a bit too wide to fit in the fender well. I'm trying to find a PPP tire that is just a smidge narrower that will fit on the HM10 wheels. I have not been able to find a chart of the true tire width. Anyone seen a chart for these? _________________ Dennis

Dennis, from overlay of PPP pics it appears that the LMS tire is the same width as the 65-69 Nascar tire but with a bit squarer shoulder.
You might want to try the 60-64 tire which is 1 mm narrower and fits the HM10 wheels. The depth of the HM10 is the same as the HM9 but the hub side is thicker but can easily be thinned to fit the 9" tire.
dimensions outer/inner/width in mm
60-64 tire: 28.0/16.4112.0
65-69 tire: 27.3/16.4/13.0 _________________ "When you arrive at a fork in the road, take it" - Yogi Berra |
