With the Powerslide Wood Brothers sheet coming out soon, I have been trying to find some pictures and information on the car Fred Lorenzon drove for them. All I have come up with is one picture, with the front and back clipped of where I couldn't tell what model of car it was. Thanks

I assume you mean the 1963 Ford Galaxie?

Thanks for the reply, but I seen a picture where he was standing next to a Purolator car from the late 60's. By the C pillars it looked like a Mercury. I didn't know he drove for them or where during that time.

Fred made an attempt to drive a Wood Brothers 69 Mercury during his *come back* in 1971. Fred was filling in for Donnie Allison at the 71 Southern 500 (Allison was off Indy racing). Unfortunately Fred totaled the Mercury during qualifying and did not make the show. Brent Hajek owns the door of that car today. That is all that is left.
