I am looking for a set of decals to build 1968 Cale Yarborough Daytona 500 winning car. Thought I could use the Polar Lights decals from the Cyclone Spoiler II kit but, not quite right. I remember my father building a model years ago with the old AMT Torino kit and having a set of decals but for the life of me can not remember whose decals they were. Thinking that they were Fred Cady but not sure. Can anybody help? |

PPP has a great Wood Brothers 67-70 sheet with all the various engine displacements, drivers, and sponsors that appeared on the 21 for that period. It doesn't come with numbers but it's got seemingly everything they ran during that era. |

jj, the PPP sheet is the way to go, the JNJ decals are 25 years old at least! I do have one set of the JNJ left, if you do decide you want them. |

Managed to find and buy one of the PPP Wood Brothers sheets. Super nice, lots of hard to find items for cars between 67 and 70,
Unfortuneatly for me, I wanted the sheet mainly for the ability to make the 21 car that Parnelli Jones drove at Riverside in 1970. The markings are not correct, the Danville Lincoln-Mercury line should end with "Inc." and not "Service". There is no black Danville, Va. decal and no white decal for the black rear taillight panel. Oh well, I am going to remake my 68 Daytona car so there are some useful items for that car.
Overall, a must have sheet, just not right for my Parnelli project. |

For those interested, I just seen where Mike is coming out with a set of decals for the Wood Brothers 1968-69 cars. |

Thanks for that info jjsipes. Looks like a beautiful sheet and also provides the proper markings for Dan Gurney's 68 Torino and the Merc that Swede Savage drove for the Woods Brothers.
Great news for us Wood Brother's fans.
