DK: It's a beautiful day for racing at the famous Knoxville Raceway in Iowa and the Fantasy Cup Series is here to mix it up in the dirt! Hello, everyone, I'm Dave Knight alongside Darrell Waltrip. Welcome to the Winnebago 100.

DW: Dave, we've got the dirt tires on these cars and we're ready to start slingin' it every which way. Gonna get a little dirty today!

DK: And with that, we go trackside.

Ladies and gentlemen, please rise and remove your hats for the singing of our national anthem.

And now, race fans, it's time for the most famous words in motorsports. Please welcome our grand marshal, 1972 Olympic gold medal winning wrestler and Iowa native, Dan Gable.

DG: Drivers, start your engines!

Green Flag

DW: Boogity boogity boogity! Let's go racin' in Knoxville!

DK: And Ken Wallace is going to stay right with pole sitter Sheldon Hatterfield as they thunder through turns 1 and 2. Hatterfield on the inside, Wallace on the outside. They sail through turns 3 and 4 in identical fashion. They come to the line, it's Wallace leading the first lap by a fender.

Lap 20

DW: And look at this charge by the Heinz Ketchup machine of Sans. He just blew past the 11 and 56 like they were standing still.

DK: And Lee Loggins isn't far behind. That Ford powerhouse is muscling his way up through the field as well. Not alot of ground separating first to last. It's been a pretty tight battle across the board so far.

Lap 52

DK: Keith Wallace has fought his way up to 4th after falling behind early.

Lap 77

DW: Up to 5th, it's the 5. Ol' Spud's got a lot of momentum this week.

DK: And there's a 3 wide battle for the lead! Bill Godlewski's stuck in the middle between Hatterfield and Ken Wallace. They touch! Godlewski gets loose and falls back, Hatterfield slides up into Wallace and they lose a ton of momentum.

DW: Wild Bill's still a bit squirrely. Oh no! He blows a tire!

DK: And clips Keith Wallace in the left rear! They both go hard into the wall in turn 3!

DW: Look who we got up in the lead, Dave.

DK: The caution comes out and working his way through the carnage is the Chevrolet of Sans followed by Tim Wallace and Lee Loggins.

White Flag

DK: And we've got one lap to go. Sans has a car length advantage over the defending series champion Tim Wallace and he's gonna double that gap as they fly down the back stretch. The Heinz 57 car's worked up through the field all day, avoided the crash on lap 77 and he's going to come off of turn 4 to win the Winnebago 100 in Knoxville!

1. 57 - Sans
2. 11 - Tim Wallace
3. 5 - Lee Loggins
4. 56 - Linda Lou Godlewski
5. 17 - Sheldon Hatterfield
6. 14 - Ken Wallace
7. 46 - JR Sealey
8. 23 - Keith Wallace (Out)
9. 72 - Bill Godlewski (Out)

DW: Man, Wild Bill and Keith Wallace had a wild ride today.

DK: And they've been checked out of the care center and they'll be back next week. And with that, we thank you again for tuning in. For Darrell Waltrip, I'm Dave Knight. We'll see you next week at Oswego for the Sirius XM 150.
