After watching my boy Harrison go upside down and seeing for the first time what the bottom of the car looks like, modeling will be easy. A flat sheet with rear diffusers. Follow Tamiya and do curbside ? Not miss much.

Looks like the bottom of a 1/32 scale slot car, even looks like it has magnets!

The 2022 Cup car is really a version of the SCCA Trans Am cars. I have no doubt you can take a 2022 Cup car to a SCCA Trans Am race and be allowed to race. IRS, Transaxle, flat bottom and under tray are found on Trans Am and IMSA cars. NASCAR is just following current tech.

I have shelves lined with at least 50 past NASCAR champions and other assorted favourites (Grey Ghost, Blue Goose, Laughing Clown). Others to come soon.

Can't recall the last time I picked one up and looked at a chassis. Or looked under the hood or trunk of those that raise up.

I'm thinking the exhaust design is their attempt to make the interior less hot by not running it as much under the driver's compartment. Seems like they are incorporating a lot of good ideas in this new car. The side number placement is starting to grow on me but still bugs me a little bit. Seems to make the car look more elongated.
