Does anybody know for sure what color the rollcage was for Geoff Bodine's Daytona 500 Winner was? In looking at in car footage from 1985 and 1986, they look different. !985 appears to be Yellow, and bright inside but, the 1986 car seems to be a darker color and not so bright inside. Here are a couple screen captures from YouTube footage of both races. I heard that Hendrick had bought all the old Terry Labonte cars from 1985 since they changed over to Oldsmobile for 1986. Labonte's cars was red inside. Did Hendrick take time to repaint?

| I do know the new road course car Hendrick Motorsports built in November, 1984 had a yellow interior and roll cage, though the body was still in a minimalist version of the red & white All Star Racing livery. Apparently Hendrick had already secured the Levi Garrett sponsorship for 1985 when they painted the chassis & interior. |
