… while i have 2 more to finish up. I can’t help it, once i get these new Ace sprint car decals in hand, i feel compelled to work on them!

Painted the tail tank too but got some runs in it, so i gotta sand and repaint…

haven't decided if i wanna go completely box stock (except for wheels & tires) on this one or not, so i haven't done the wing supports

Thanks. And yup… Mike’s is already showing out of stock for his supply… i got 2 sets from Ace, if i don’t screw anything up i will prolly put my 2nd set up for sale if anyone wants to “call dibs” 🤣

This is beautiful work. I know nothing about this type of race car but this is fun to watch.
Is this kit based, scratch building mastery or a mix of both?

Thanks Pierre. Means a lot coming from a builder of your caliber.

So far it’s completely box stock kit based. The only extra stuff i am planning at this point is resin wheels & tires from the Parts Box.

My next sprint car build, the #49 NAPA of Brad Sweet, should be extremely detailed with mostly aftermarket parts.

And winged sprint cars on dirt is the most exciting form of racing, IMO. Maybe you can cross the border and come visit the midwest this summer and i can introduce you to something new…
