Late in the '75 season, Bud got a jump on racing the notchback Torino, mandatory the following season. This car would win the final two events of the season, at Atlanta and Ontario.

Revell S&H body (the red plastic required more layers of silver paint and primer than I can remember, or care to). I trimmed down a Monogram chassis and cage to fit. Monogram rims and tires. Decals are mostly my inkjet-printed designs.

Awesome build. I've been mulling over getting that kit and attempting this. No 70's Ford kits stinks.

Thanks. I'd recommend finding a white version if you can. The red StarskyHutch plastic was a major chore to seal.

Excellent job , Bill. I know what you mean about the S&H red body. They should outlaw the use of colored body's on model kits.

Bud and Buddy were a force to recon with.
Bud was ahead of the game on getting sponsors. you have to do your research for which sponsor would be on the car.

Incredible build!!!!

Yes I believe so. Probably explains why I got this one at a good price...

The original issue of the S&H kit is molded in red. I have one.

All S&H Torinos were in red plastic.
The stock Torino kit, fighter palne on box, was in white plastic.

Tamiya's gray rattle can primer works well to cover those bright colored plastics. Big fan of their products.

Tamiya silver is what I used to cover the red plastic on my build.
