Hey everyone! Got a few kits to work on. I feel a little lost since I've been diecast stripping for so long. Any help with these questions would be appreciated!
1) got the Logano Revell snaptite kit. Seems to be from around 2015. What years would this be accurate for?
2) what's the best way to strip these bodies? I use aircraft remover for diecasts and am worried that would be too rough on plastic. I used to give my cars a h in alcohol when I used to work with the profinish.. does that still work? Is there an easier way?
3) in general is there a good resource for body styles per year? |

i soaked a Mark Martin Godaddy Impala in 91% alcohol and it took EVERYTHING off right down to the white plastic. _________________ ON DECK/IN THE WORKS: too many started to list...

Awesome, I'll give that a shot! I remember when I used to soak the Mark Martin Taurus, it would still leave some remnants of the darker decal markings. I'll let you guys know how it turns out!
Still wondering about the body styles! |

To answer your 1st question...
The Revell Snap kit Gen6 Ford Fusion covers 2013-2015. In 2016, Ford reshaped the nose to make it a little more "rounded" for better Aero. The Revell Glue Gen6 Ford Fusion covers 2016-2018. In 2019 Ford went to the Mustang...
