I've got a model of David Pearson's 66-67 Charger almost done. I have not been able to find a color photo to show the interior color. Anyone know what it should be?

All I can say for sure is the roll cage is white! Haven't seen a clear period pic to be sure of the rest. One pic I've seen shows very dark(black?) inner door panels, the rest looks gray, or shadowed white or spatter, can't tell.

Don't copy that clone at the Nascar Museum.
It has a lot of NON period correct parts on it.

Who knows if any of the color scheme is correct...

The interior of the #6 Dodge looks white(-ish) based on this clip from "Speedway" (see 1:30 into the video):

I guess it could also be gray or light gray, hard to tell from the lighting.

EDIT:
Cottonowens.com has some still photos - It looks like the body-color white for the interior, but could be gray.

Thank you, I will go with white. Surprised the Google search didn't find the pictures from Cotton's site. I need to scratch build new windows because I messed mine up but it's almost done.

Bill, just go to cotton owens.com, click on drivers tab then DP, nice pics David's 63 to 67 rides. Looks like interiors and roll cages where white with dark (black?) seats and IPs, perhaps with some bare metal added panels/closeouts here and there.

They generally had black carpet on the floors and door panels over the bars also.
