Jim Pardue's Belvedere appeared at times in white, red or a combination of both.

I built this dark side ride 2 years ago from the AMT Petty kit
Very good kit, built basically OOB with minor changes
Hollowed exhaust dumps, scratch built taillamp covers and fuel cap & overflow
PPP tires and wheels
Powerslide decals
Vallejo dark vermillon and off-white, brush painted
Future clear, brush painted
Some weathering of the chrome bits
Thank you for looking

Excellent build Pierre!
The stance looks perfect and the finish is nice and smooth and has the right amount of gloss.
I really like the weathering too, it adds a lot of realism. Bravo! |

Outstanding. Agree the weathering and chrome 'de-emphasis' well done! _________________ Bill Jobson is my real name. |

Another excellent one, Pierre. I'm finally starting my first brush painted body build. Hope I get half the results you get. I had to order some vallejo white and gray primer from micro mark. H.L. sells the vallejo paint but not the primer, which seems ridiculous to me. I had some paint flaking off issues with the vallejo on my last build where I didn't prime first. |

Thank you guys. I very much appreciate your feedback. Building has become more enjoyable since I started posting my work and receive encouragement from other builders. _________________ "When you arrive at a fork in the road, take it" - Yogi Berra |

I very much look forward to seing your work. I hope you will share progress as you experiment brush painting techniques. Perhaps a post on the brush painter society? _________________ "When you arrive at a fork in the road, take it" - Yogi Berra |

Sure will, even if it turns out bad. So you can give me ideas how to fix it. |
