I decided to paint up another body that has been hanging around. This will be Sterling’s I g 1994 car. Tamiya semi gloss black fir the interior and Camel Yellow on the body. Decals will be the Slixx sheet, so here’s to hoping they hang in there.

That was a fast race car. Never heard if Runt had figured something out and had an advantage or if the stars were just aligned.... for two years in a row!

Part of the success was the 180 degree headers. Higher rpm flat torque curve and an AWESOME exhaust sound especially down the L O N G back straight.

I remember this race, the cars were so close on plate tracks then a little advantage made a huge difference. This car handled very well, if my memory serves. The 97 Pepsi 400 is another one, a shock change on John Andretti's car made the difference that day.
