sebss, a forum member on here, JWVD5953, did this car in the wip section sometime around the first of the year. I think most (if not all) of the pics have evaporated in the thread but John did an absolutely beautiful job on the build.
You might want to PM him in regards to what references he used. Again, his work on it was top notch and if I'm not mistaken, used the ProModeler kit.

Ok, went into my decal box, and I found the Yesterday's decal sheet for this car,and the Ford Pepsi Torino that Tiny Lund drove that year. The paint reference given is: Testors 2902 Arctic Blue Metallic on wheels, body, but it says a black interior. Strange since i would imagine the entire car being the same color. Powerslide has the decals for this available from mikes decals. The Canadian flag on the wing I believe is a reference to a member of the pit crew being from Canada.Or something like that. Good luck on your build.

Factory colors were commonly used back then. I always thought it was either B5 or B7 blue, more likely B7. |
