I work during the day so I always like all the extra daylight I can get when I get home. |

No vote, I live in Arizona one of the two states with enough sense to not participate in DLST.
For the record, I see no point in the time change, other then inconvenience a couple times per year. |

Now that I am retired, I would like that extra hour of daylight in the winter. I worked as an IT night operations shift manager. We worked a 12hr, 3 day work week with rotating shifts. Seemed like I was always working Saturday nights in the fall when you set clocks back - working an extra hour and was off the Saturday in the spring when clocks were set forward and shift on duty only worked 11 hours.

DST was basically rammed down our throat a few years back when our (then) Governor, in his infinite wisdom, decided that everybody else (almost) had jumped off the DST bridge so Indiana needed to jump too. I don't care for it and didn't want it. I also recall hearing on the news that the rate of heart attacks increases shortly after every switch to DST, as well (for what that's worth) |

I’m a daytime person, so I like daylight when I can use it. I say keep it as is. |

I just as soon have it done away with.......
In my younger years here in Iowa, the state did not have DST....
IF one has to have DST,,,,then do it between Mid-May and Mid Sept.......
One reason it is not year round, school children in the Northern half of the country would be getting on their buses in the dark.....is that what you want for kids? Especially in this day and age?

In the 1970's I believe either Congress or President Ford required DST year round as a way to help conserve energy. It lasted one maybe two years. It went back because the number of school kids that were hit by cars went way up. The reason is that they were walking to the school bus stops in the dark. |

Leave the time change alone. We eventually have plenty of light in the morning and evening as summer gets here. |
